Meet Our Elders
The Under Shepherd - Elder Vinson Biggs
Being an elder at UFGRC Plymouth is both a sacred responsibility and a humbling privilege. It means serving as an undershepherd—faithfully supporting, covering, and carrying out the vision of my pastors with integrity at all times. In this role, I am entrusted to represent them in word, action, and spirit, ensuring that the standard of leadership remains consistent whether they are present or not.
Through this assignment, I have gained a deeper understanding of the many facets of ministry. From overseeing committees to engaging with the financial stewardship of the church, each responsibility has shaped my perspective and strengthened my commitment to excellence in service. These experiences have taught me that effective ministry requires both spiritual sensitivity and practical wisdom.
As Apostle Sharp often reminds us, elders are essentially pastors without the title. That truth carries weight—it calls for maturity, discipline, and unwavering dedication. Above all, this role demands humility. To serve successfully, I must remain submitted to God, aligned with my pastors, and committed to the growth and well-being of the ministry. Being an elder is not about position, but about posture—one of service, obedience, and faithful leadership.
The Elder - Elder Elect Darrell Basnight
Darrell Basnight Sr. was born in Brooklyn, NY but raised in Washington County, North Carolina. In 2002, he answered the call of God and committed his life to Him. In May 2005, he was ordained as a deacon. Later, in 2009, he joined United Full Gospel Revival Ministry in Plymouth, North Carolina, under the leadership of Pastors Yolanda and Larry Clagonn.
Darrell has a heart for serving others. He faithfully assists in the food pantry and is an active member of the Men’s ministry. As a dedicated Deacon, he has remained committed to supporting his leaders and serving within the community and ministry.
His heart’s desire is to share the wisdom and knowledge of God so that others may come to understand His power and love. As it is written in Matthew 19:26, “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’

Pastors Dr. Larry & Dr. Yolanda Clagon
Pastors, Dr. Larry and Dr. Yolanda Clagon, have been the pastors here for going on 17 years this coming October 2026. These esteemed leaders have been in ministry since 2001, but was called to pastorship under the founding Apostle of UFGRCIM, Apostle Olivia Darling Sharp in 2009.
Since being in ministry, the dynamic duo have kept their hands to the gospel plow by birthing and nurturing many leaders, whom share in the same vision Dr. Larry and Dr. Yolanda have set before them; which is to advance the kingdom!
During the 16 years of ministry they have always remained humble and concerned with meeting the needs of the people in order to minister to the whole man. They started The Jireh Empowerment Outreach Center, which is a community center that does just that, service the community. The Jireh Center is the home to the Tabernacle Bible College, where you can earn a degree in divinity, early childhood education and so much more. It also houses the Food Pantry, which feeds over 200 families in the community every 3rd Saturday of the month, as well as, a clothes closet that is also open to the community to be able to dress for job interviews and get everyday clothes as well.
In addition to these services, they also have the WOW (Weapons of Warfare) prayer line every Tuesday. This is when they come together and bombard heaven with those on the line to pray for one another as well as the world and speak encouraging words to the people.
Dr. Larry and Dr. Yolanda Clagon firmly believe that by meeting the immediate need of the man they are able to minister to the whole man. Every Sunday they have morning worship service at 11a.m. and Bible Study is every Wedne at 7p.m. Where God always shows up and shows out! Along with the fore mentioned ministries God has called to their hands, He has also charged them with so much more. Such as the mission work in Uganda Africa, Men’s ministry, Women’s ministry, Youth ministry, Marriage ministry and Singles ministry.
They forever remain kingdom minded and strive every day to be pleasing in the sight of God, all while not just being emotionally stirred but intellectually respected.
